|  Being in the advertising & event planning business my whole life, I thought "Why hire a coordinator & pay someone to do something I am perfectly capable of doing, possibly even better"? I had the misconception that Wedding Planners were too expensive anyway, and I was on a tight budget. But if there was one thing I could change about my wedding, I would have hired a coordinator. I was literally sick with stress during my engagement as I was working full time, taking French classes on the side, and trying to plan my wedding without any family or friends because they all lived out of state. Having a personal assistant, just someone that I could call on at moments notice to help me with something could have saved me months of agony and frustration. It might have also saved my job
